Fees mechanics

MEV Blocker billing is calculated based on realized block value. Builders are billed based on what they earned from MEV Blocker transaction flow.

Billing period

Billing periods run from Wednesday 00:00 UTC through Tuesday 23:59 UTC.

How fees are calculated

For each billing period, MEV Blocker determines builder charges using the following process:

1. Block attribution - Identify which builder produced each block during the billing period.
2. Value attribution - Calculate the value from the sum of the priority fees and coinbase transfers in each block that are attributable specifically to MEV Blocker transaction flow.
3. Builder charge - Charge each builder 80% of the realized MEV Blocker value for the blocks they produced.
